Great communication is at the core of every successful business and staying connected in today’s environment is easier than ever been but with more app and platform options knowing which is right for your team is hard.  Between multiple emails, texts, Facebook, direct messaging apps it is becoming more complicated to quickly get answers from your team to make effective decisions.  Over the years I have used a lot of different communication tools and always like exploring new options.  Here are a few that I have used and the pros and cons of each.

I have been dedicated over the last year to get my email volume down and between Airtable and Google Hangouts I have been able to streamline communication for daily needs as well as complex projects and have seen at least a 50% reduction in emails.  When dealing long complex projects having the right tools and strategy is essential to meeting your milestones.

You may also want to check out Slack, Basecamp, and Trello, all of these platforms have pros and cons so jump in and play around to see what works best for your team.  When you find the right tools, your efficiency goes up, your band width increases and your ability to focus on new opportunities grows.
